Studiomaster 162BPX 16 Channel 28 Input Mixer

Designed as a one stop solution for professional installations, the 162BPX has proven to be perfect for applications where a high quality, compact and reliable mixer is essential.

The 162BPX is a 16 channel rack mount mixer with balanced mic/line inputs, custom DSP and all connections on the rear panel. The solid build and reassuring feel of the controls, leaves you in no doubt that you are dealing with a serious, professional workhorse. The 162BPX boasts a total of 28 inputs, regulated internal power supply and takes up just 6 spaces in a 19" rack.

The effects module in the 162BPX offers you six reverb effects and six pre-set delays. The effects are three 'Vocal' sounds, and ADT effects and two reverbs while the delays range from 120ms to 720ms. As always with Studiomaster products, these stunning effects have been designed to give you fast access to great sounds. The effects output can be routed to the main mix output and to the MON auxiliary output, so your performers can also hear the effects!

The 16 channels are made up of twelve mic/line and four combination mic/stereo line inputs. This gives you the flexibility to connect 16 mics and 4 stereo devices simultaneously. Phantom power (+48V) is available on all mic XLR inputs so you can use condenser mics with confidence.

A stereo auxiliary input with level control allows you to connect an additional outboard effects processor. Recording and playback connections are on RCA phono with individual level controls so you can easily match signals going to and from recording equipment.

The mic/line channels feature three band EQ with sweep mid. The mid can be adjusted to get the best out of whatever you have connected. Mic/stereo channels feature a two band EQ. You'll also benefit from two auxiliary sends (one pre, one post fader), pan, PFL switch and 60mm fader.

The 162BPX is housed in a steel, 6 space rack mounting chassis with all controls, including the power switch, on the front panel and all input/output connections securely positioned on the rear panel - out of harms way! Individual circuit boards are used throughout and all controls are actually bolted to the front panel making the 162BPX a tough, reliable and easy to service mixer.
